SENIOR CLINICIAN SCIENTIST
Dr. Greenblatt is Medical Director, Mount Sinai Fertility, and Head, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Mount Sinai Hospital. She is also an Associate Professor, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Department of Medicine, University of Toronto.
Dr. Greenblatt received her medical degree from McGill University and undertook additional training at McGill University, Western University and University of California, San Francisco where she was funded by an MRCC fellowship.
Her work has made important contributions to current practices in fertility preservation in young adults with cancer, as well as improving outcomes and limiting complications as a result of assisted reproductive treatments (ARTs) In 2010 she was recognized by the Royal Society of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as being instrumental in the development of Gynecologic Endocrinology and Infertility as a medical speciality. In 2014, she received recognition from the organization Fertile Future for her ongoing commitment to enhancing fertility outcomes for people facing cancer.
Her research interests focus on:
Fertility preservation in adolescents and young adults with cancer
Endometrial receptivity, specifically in the development of non-invasive biomarkers to improve the prediction of embryo implantation and allow single embryo transfer.
Improving outcomes from assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs), specifically decreasing multiple pregnancies and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.
Barriers to reproduction in overweight and obese women.
Her research has been funded by Medical Research Council of Canada (MRCC), Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Canadian Celiac Association (CCA), Physicians’ Services Incorporated Foundation (PSI), Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), Quebec Ministry of Health, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF), Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as well as an Innovation Grant from the Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) Academic Funding Plan (AFP). Dr Greenblatt was the first Canadian awarded a Grant for Fertility Innovation (EMD Serono).
Dr. Greenblatt has consulted nationally and internationally in her field and with patient advocacy groups. She is a past national director of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, Current Canadian member of the Oncofertility Consortium Global Network and she has published more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Major Research Activities
Dr. Greenblatt is currently leading a study using high-throughput genomic analysis of biomarkers of endometrial receptivity in IVF, as well as developing tools for oncofertility decision-making in cancer treatment She is a collaborator on a CIHR-Quebec MOH multicentre study evaluating lifestyle interventions to improve fertility success and pregnancy outcomes in overweight and obese women.
